Perspective. It’s a powerful thing.
Every year on Canada Day, I’m reminded of how fortunate I am to have been born and raised in this incredible country. Canada isn’t perfect — no place is — but it has given me freedoms, choices, and opportunities that so many people around the world may never experience.
For that, I’m deeply grateful.
Can we do better? Can I do better? Absolutely. And I hope we will.
But today, I invite you to pause and reflect on what we do have — the foundations that support us, the freedoms we often take for granted, and the possibilities we’re privileged to pursue.
Because when life feels overwhelming, when the waves are crashing hard, it’s this kind of perspective that can steady us — and give us the courage to rise, refocus, and shift course in an instant.
