3 Questions To Ask To Overcome Schedule Bumping
What is that one thing right now that you keep bumping from your calendar, even though you tell yourself it’s important and needs to be done?
I’ve shared before about Covey’s quadrants from his book First Things First; also referred to as the Eisenhower Matrix. Today I want to specifically focus on the important quadrants (green and blue).

The not urgent and important quadrant (blue) is where you ISOLATE your most essential activities, personally and professionally, and schedule enough time for them each week. Much of what is needed to grow your business or evolve your career while also taking care of your health and well being and having quality family time happens here.

The urgent and important quadrant (green) includes activities of you working IN your business or career. These activities can easily dominate your schedule if you let them.
Ultimately you need to find your effective balance between activities in both quadrants.
So that thing I asked you about at the start that keeps getting bumped... is it from the blue quadrant? Here are three questions to ask yourself if you find that you are regularly pushing or bumping scheduled activities from the blue quadrant.
